US AAVR7A1 Armored Recovery Vehicle
Modelling a USMC AAVR7A1 recovery vehicle with the recently released HobbyFan AAVR7A1 conversion kit.
Recovery vehicles are great subjects for modelling. This USMC AAVR7A1 is no exception. The Tamiya AAV7A1 kit is converted into a recovery vehicle. I'm using the HobbyFan conversion kit for this. I've planned to paint this model into a three-tone NATO camouflage and give it a thorough dusty weathering like the Amtracks in Iraq.
